" Creature from the Black Lagoon " (1954) degrees in its commercial debut in Spain as " The monster from the Black Lagoon " is an American production of the fifties, after many years, I've never seen on television tonight, now with the new title of "Women and monster."
There are scenes of movies seen in childhood when you strongly make and survive in your memory, despite the years that have passed. One of these nebulae pictures, kept hidden somewhere in my memory is the sequence of swimming exercise of the protagonist of this film, the beautiful Julia Adams, wearing a tight bathing suit, while others breaststroke semi erotic romps monster of the lagoon, submerged and swimming parallel to it, try rubbing the foot of the beautiful with the sharp claws of their ugly webbed hands.
seems that the film, directed by a specialist in science fiction films, Jack Arnold, was originally shot in 3D, this is your vision needed polarized glasses (do not remember having seen well in Spain) and their success , produced a couple of sequels, "Revenge of the monster from the Black Lagoon " (1955) and " The monster walks among us " (1956) unreleased in our country, as far as I remember.
The film, return to see now, tells the story of a group of scientists (geologists) to start on an expedition to a remote river in the Amazon basin (the Black Lagoon) in search of fossil remains prove the existence of a link between terrestrial and marine creatures in the Devonian period. Expedition up the two young scientists, the "good", David (Richard Carlson) who is good with his girlfriend, Kate (Julia Adams) who is "take bread and dip" and "bad" Mark (Richard Denning) engaged in discovering the monster hunt them down and kill him. There are other secondary characters, all male, two senior scientists, the ship's captain and a couple of sailors aboard a ship named "Rita."
At the bottom of the lagoon and communicated in a cave with this, lives a monstrous creature, played, as I have read by two different players, one for the scenes on land and one for water. The poor monster must be so tired of his solitary existence is the scales stand on end as you see the palm of the beautiful and never stops chasing to not know that perverse purposes, but to us imagine (curiously the men of the expedition are not aware of the more than explicit intentions of the monster, attentive only to capture him alive or dead, for their scientific purposes.)

The sweet Julie Adams, whose image erotic dreams troubled child, is now 84 and I'm just a "Jubilate" with the airs of an amateur writer, before going to sleep, I wanted to recommend to the readers to see, when given the opportunity, this curious version of the timeless story of impossible love between Beauty and the Beast. Have you dream sweet dreams and if perhaps with monstrous creatures, at least, are so human in their desires as the monster from the Black Lagoon.
